This is an exciting role to lead the new relationship opportunities within the grocery channel for a brand that bridges the food and wellbeing categories.

The company is small in the UK now, but they are well established Globally and have big ambitions, and this presents an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to develop and grow with the Company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Introduce brand and products to new grocery channel partners
  • Establishing new, productive relationships with grocery channel partners
  • Develop and deliver customer presentations and meetings
  • Manage existing customer base in other B2B channels, as well as manage grocery channel partners, once established
  • Negotiate terms with new customers
  • Using consumer insights and data to demonstrate where the brand and products fit into grocery strategy, or what need/gap they fulfil
  • Promotion planning and forecasting
  • Develop and implement channel strategy
  • Keep abreast of market trends and look for ways to develop solutions that meet the needs of emerging trends
  • Longer term, will support the development and implementation of NPD
  • Managing P&L
  • Hitting revenue and profit goals

Requirements
  • Experienced sales person within food and/or wellbeing categories within the grocery channel
  • Can create strategies, and build business plans from scratch
  • Proven ability to create and sustain new relationships with grocery buyers, showing an understanding of the decision-making process
  • Experienced introducing new brands into grocery customers
  • Familiar with, and able to use consumer insights
  • Strong track record for hitting goals and targets
  • Comfortable being part of a small, ambitious company and needing to do everything for themselves!
