We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team based at our Oldbury Head Office, as a Graphic Desginer and Marketing Executive. We are one of the Midland’s largest furniture stores, offering customers a fantastic choice of living, dining and bedroom furniture.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Define and design marketing campaigns for the promotional period, including ideation, creation and reporting on performance.
  • Work closely with directors and the department to expand and execute marketing and promotional plans in producing brochures, leaflets, POS materials, display ads, banner, social media images, images for web and digital advertisements.
  • Design and development of digital content across channels including social media, website and email.
  • Collaborate with various levels of personnel in the business, while bringing your expertise in graphic and strong visual design.
  • Communicating with external agencies.
  • Designing online graphics, videos, animations and manipulating digital images.
  • Keeping up to date with design trends.
  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts to fit briefs.
  • Working to deadlines, sometimes under pressure.
  • Optimising images for online use.

Experience & Skills:

  • To ideally suit someone with a strong fashion/interiors background, preferably in retail.
  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design across various online and traditional channels.
  • Proven record of managing multiple projects, often in a time pressured environment
  • Production and submission of press adverts.
  • Brochure design, production and liaison with printers.
  • Creative process ability in producing ideas and solutions that lead to generating visually appealing campaigns.
  • Knowledge and experience of Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe Premier Pro).
  • Ability to generate variety content formats including print, animation, video, advertising and illustrations.
  • Online, e-commerce experience preferably in a B2C environment (not essential).
  • Knowledge of and experience in working with HTML, CSS.
  • A strong portfolio of recent work to demonstrate web design skills and experience.
  • Ability to communicate your creative vision across the team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Have skills in digital retouching and image editing.
