The JG Travel Group is one of the UK’s leading tour operators of group travel offering exciting and diverse value for money tours, ranging from short breaks, classic seaside resort holidays, heritage tours, London theatre breaks, Sporting, Family and Tribute breaks, and European holidays, including Cruises, through a number of distinct brands.

We are looking to recruit a Graphic Designer based in our Cheltenham office to help further the company’s continued success.

We are looking for an experienced creative and customer focussed Graphic Designer to work within our busy Marketing Studio, to help design and develop our extensive range of marketing communication materials for all of our brands.

The main duties include the following:

· Manage the creative delivery of a broad range of on and offline marketing communications.

· To work with the Studio Leader to develop new ways of communicating with customers.

· Control and check all marketing material prior to delivery.

· To help support all areas of the marketing team as and when required to ensure deadlines are met.

· Responsible for the design and development of marketing communications for JG Travel Group brands.

· To think creatively and develop new ideas to target customer groups.

· Be innovative in translating design briefs as well as seeking to maximise value for money.

· Ability to work on more than one design brief at a time.

· Able to use a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design to communicate the essence of each brand message.

· Produce accurate and high quality work that meets the initial design specification and deadlines cost effectively.

· Keep abreast of developments in IT, particularly design programmes.

· Enjoy working in a team, with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, and marketing specialists to deliver all marketing communications and deliver against the annual sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have excellent print and design experience with up-to-date InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge (even better, experience of HTML/ Creative Cloud/ CC/ Google SEO/ Flash/ Dreamweaver). With an eye for detail, they will be used to having to multi-task and working to tight timescales and ideally, have the ability to write copy in a commercial and creative way.
