WHO ARE WE?

We are a young and unique internet company that runs various e-commerce brands that specialize in Personalised Gifts. Our main brands include Super Socks; a custom sock & underwear brand, Dogsy; unique gifts featuring your dog and Snugzy; The Worlds Loveable Mini-Me. With high demand from all over the world, our goal is to grow and become one of the largest Sock & Dog brands globally. You’ll be joining a very young, energetic team of 20.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Graphic Designer at Nerdy Banana, you’ll be responsible for developing highly engaging and creative content for our multiple brands and licenses we hold. This will consist of graphics for web, social, email, and paid marketing as well as new product creation & design. We are looking for a talented and creative individual with a strong flair for new ideas and who has knowledge and experience with creating engaging content

Our brand portfolio includes; Super Socks, Dogsy, Meowie, Snugzy, & Nifty Gifty. We also work with brands such as Selfridges, Warner Bros, WWE & Many Football Clubs

This can be flexible/temporary/permanent contract. Start needed ASAP

JOB ROLE

• Creating Sock Designs & Patterns for our brand Super Socks

• Designing and Editing content suitable for various platforms and purposes, such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Tik Tok etc.

• Designing and editing creative content for paid media spaces such as social media advertising

• Both print and digital design for web banners, mailshots, websites. Flyers,

• Conveying a strong and consistent brand image across all our brands

• Working closely with creative team (social,, videographer, designers and brand development) to execute strong brand messages in order to drive sales

• Designing and developing products using brand assets

• Delivering assets to various teams and departments around the business and externally.

• Keeping up to date and informed with new social media trends.

• Working to tight deadlines, assisting the business in reactive content when necessary.

• Handing all data files, ensuring organisation is clear and manageable, and content is catalogued and secure.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE

• Proven record in creating graphics and photo editing with examples by showreel or portfolio.

• Great knowledge and capabilities in Adobe Creative Suite; Mainly Photoshop & Illustrator. After Effects is a bonus.

• Strong understanding of social media trends and uses. Especially looking at how creative design is applied across social media platforms.

• Ability to turn around projects with short lead times and tight deadlines.

• Be available to travel and work remotely if/when required.

• Ability to work in a professional environment and represent the company in a suitable manner.

• Outgoing and confident personality, able to work with and alongside new people with ease.
