Jake Designs was established in 2012 by former British Kart Champion, the company focuses on producing kart graphics for the motorsport industry. It is a fast moving and progressive company, looking to increase their market share.

Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well established motorsport design company, located in South Yorkshire. The chosen applicant will be responsible for generating concepts for racing teams across the world, including logo designs and rebranding team graphics.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients to discuss requirements of the job.
  • Developing designs to suit the client’s brand.
  • Working to strict and demanding daily deadlines whilst maintaining high standards.
  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts for the customer.
  • Using innovation to redefine a design brief within a specified time frame.
  • Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to clients.
  • Preparing finalised art work for print.
  • Working with a range of media applications.
  • Working as part of a team with printers, other designers and administrators.

Essential:

· Design experience.

· GCSE Maths and English at grade C (5) or above.

· Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Effective time-keeping and work load management.

· Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.

· Ability to deal with multiple tasks at one time.

· Eye for detail and quality.

Desirable:

· Adobe illustrator experience.

· Signlab experience.

· Interest in sport/motorsport.

Job Type:Full time/permanent

Salary:TBC depending on experience

Experience:At least one yearsgraphic design experience in any industry.
