This is a busy and varied role; you will be expected to work closely with our Senior Graphic Designer, Graphic Designer and wider Marketing team to deliver high quality creative across a range of channels, whilst ensuring brand guidelines are met throughout.

To be successful in this role, you are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles, layout techniques and Adobe Creative Cloud software. You should also have experience executing marketing projects from conception to delivery.

What we expect from you:

  • Develop multiple print and digital design projects from initial conception through to delivery
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all marketing projects
  • Liaise with printers, external suppliers and internal teams to ensure deadlines are met
  • Provide fresh thinking, strong ideas and a high level of craftsmanship across all elements of design
  • Strive to advance yourself, the team and the Lyons brand by staying on top of current industry trends, developments and tools
  • Understand the importance of good processes. When a process doesn’t work, you are passionate enough to change it

Key skills required:

  • Proven experience as a midweight graphic designer, graphic designer or similar role
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud software
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Exceptional eye for detail and ability to produce high-quality work
  • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing design needs and priorities
  • Strong basics in typography and know a thing or two about character and paragraph styles
  • Competency in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with setting up artwork for print and liaising with external suppliers
  • Strong portfolio showing your breadth of design capabilities

Desirable skills:

  • Degree in a design related subject
  • Knowledge of marketing practice
