Jak is partnering up with a hugely succesful design & fit out company to identy a talented graphic designer to join their team in Guildford. As a Graphic Designer, you will operate in the design room and collaborate directly with the business development team, project directors, and fellow designers.
Your profile:
- A relevant degree or higher education qualification.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Familiarity with other relevant software like After Effects and XD is a plus.
- A high level of creativity and the ability to think outside the box and push boundaries.
- A strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and proficiency in spelling and grammar.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, especially for pitch and tender work.
- Effective workload management, including handling people’s expectations and prioritizing deadlines.
- Confidence to work independently as well as collaboratively within the team.
Your responsibilities:
- Creating brochures for RFP responses and credentials documents.
- Developing print and digital presentations for client meetings and pitches, including the possibility of creating simple videos.
- Handling graphic work for existing clients, which can range from printed welcome booklets to large-format posters/vinyl.
- Designing manifestation and super graphics as per client requirements.
- Occasionally designing signage and/or icons for clients.
In addition to the above, you will provide general support to the company, including:
- Producing office collateral and digital presentations.
- Creating infographics and maps.
- Designing hoarding for construction sites.
- Fulfilling other ad hoc design requirements like manuals, adverts, invitations, conference presentations, and photo manipulation.
- Coordinate with external print vendors and assist with in-house printing/binding deadlines.
