This role is responsible for the creative output of client creative briefs, ensuring high quality and brand
consistency. Developing and delivering innovative creative across all consumer segments to support
the delivery of business targets.
Execute marketing projects from conception to production, visualising and creating graphics including
illustrations, logos, layouts and photography. As well as shaping the visual aspects of the website,
brochures, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more.
Key Responsibilities:
To create and produce designs/creative collateral that showcases the Royal Mint products,
ensuring these designs are inline with client briefs and delivered on time, to budget
Study design briefs to determine requirements, liaise with various stakeholders to manage
projects in a structured and methodical way
Utilise various programmes such as - Adobe CS Suite champion (InDesign, Illustrator,
Photoshop, After effects to produce designs of a high standard
Ensure any feedback given on design work is taken on board and designs are amended
accurately and within the timeframe given/agreed
Prepare rough drafts of work to communicate ideas, present thoughts or ideas back to the
team/teams
Responsible for ensuring layout, typography and photographic composition is taking into
account when producing any creative work and work on appealing and on-brand
Work with and liaise with the Creative Services team to share ideas and produce final creative
work
Ensure graphics created are tested across various media
Continuously keeping abreast of creative and market trends to develop creative rationale, concepts and visuals that adhere to the brand

  • Demonstrable experience as a Designer/Artworker with a strong portfolio to showcase skills
  • Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair
  • Highly experienced with an intimate understanding of design, art working, print and digitalusing appropriate software including all Adobe Creative design packages, Microsoft packages plus hand drawing skills is advantageous to communicate ideas quickly with the team Excellent project management skills
  • A passion for creating stunning visuals which match the client brief and help to deliver amazing ROI and brand engagement
  • A good understanding of print and packaging, artwork preparation for print and digital
  • Proven experience of delivering commercial messages on multiple campaigns throughout the year. Working with copy team for campaign, marketing online and offline and knowledge of event as well as video production
  • Build agency relationships for a wide range of specialist and ad hoc projects. Experience of liaising with a third party agencies and freelancers
  • Actively aware of all areas of design across the value streams
  • Ability to work proactively and independently, and as part of a team
