About Our Client

This client are an online publisher of medical news and healthcare information.

Job Description

You will be responsible for the following:

  • You will be responsible for all aspects required to write and develop oncology grant proposals to seek funding.
  • Lead proposal initiation calls with internal stakeholders. You will obtain relevant research and direction for proposal development, confirming time lines and medical research required.
  • Write clear, evidence-based copy that identify clinical practice gaps.
  • Use internal grant proposal structure and tools available to tell a compelling story on scientific evidence.
  • Incorporate revisions from internal end external proposal reviewers to ensure high quality grants are submitted and improve the likelihood of grant awards.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced degree in medical or science-related speciality (not essential but preferred), with experience in writing medical content.
  • Ability to incorporate data, visuals and narrative in to a compelling written story.

What’s on Offer

  • Starting mid March
  • 6 month contract initially with option to turn permanent.
  • Salary - day rate equivalent of circa £55,000-£65,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Remote opportunity if required, or working on a hybrid model from London office.
