Graduate Supply Chain Assistant
Location: Normanton, West Yorkshire, WF6 1GX
Salary: £23K – £25K per annum, DOE
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
We are Forza Foods, we are recruiting and we want you.
We slice and pack cooked meats for ASDA, having started in 2006 and since then our turnover has grown to circa £300m per annum and we now employ 1,200 colleagues at our state-of-the-art operation in Normanton.
In January 2016, we became a wholly owned subsidiary of IPL Ltd, who in turn are a wholly owned subsidiary of ASDA.
We are dynamic, driven and totally focussed on satisfying our customers from start to finish; from innovative product development right through to customer feedback and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join us.
We are now looking for a candidate who is keen to build a career within Supply Chain Management; this could be the opportunity for you to work within the food industry and earn whilst studying for a professional qualification.
Graduates who have come into this role previously, have moved into Scheduling/Planning Production for the UK Operation and also into Materials Resource Planning and Procurement.

The Ideal Candidates Will
  • Be educated to degree level in a related subject: Food, Business Management, Supply Chain or Manufacturing
  • Have had relevant work experience which involved analytical thinking, either in the form of paid work, or an Industrial Placement as part of your course
  • Be commercially driven and ambitious
  • Have excellent leadership potential and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Be enthusiastic and motivated with a “can do, will do” attitude
Candidates Will Be Required To Demonstrate
  • Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills together with meticulous attention to detail
Have strong IT and administrative skills.
  • A positive and tenacious attitude
  • The ability to plan ahead whilst working to meet deadlines and target
  • The ability to think outside the box
