An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Site Engineer to join a successful specialist subcontractor with an impressive portfolio of work across Central Scotland. They are seeking an experienced graduate site engineer with at least two years’ working within an established civil engineering team. The ideal candidate would have proven experience working on structural repair projects. This is a permanent role and work will be based throughout Glasgow and Central Scotland.

As a Site Engineer, You Will Be Responsible For
  • Setting out and surveying the site.
  • Implementing strategies as discussed with management.
  • Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
  • Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
  • Obtain permits and warrants.
  • Ensure that the company quality procedures are maintained at all times.
  • Seek to complete project on time and within budget.
  • Mentoring and supporting more junior staff on site.
  • Supporting the team, and any other site engineering duties as required.
Background/experience Required
  • Previous experience working as a Site Engineer with a civil engineering contractor.
  • Appropriate civil engineering qualification - i.e HND/C or Degree.
  • CAD knowledge is desirable but not essential.
  • You should have a valid CSCS card.
