The Water Technologies & Solutions (WTS) Products and Standards (P&S) Team is a team located throughout Europe providing SUEZ Product Engineering Support to the SUEZ WTS organization.
This role will be responsible for Engineering support from proposal/bidding stage to the project completion stage and supporting other areas of the WTS business with Standard Product Engineering Support. This role will work closely with all teams (Product Management, Factory, Proposal team, Project Management team, Sourcing, Quality team etc) involved in the sales/execution cycle of the Project. The role will consist of an initial period within the P&S Transactional team to develop knowledge of SUEZ Products and processes, and then moving to the P&S Engineering team to develop these skills further (as part of role rotation).

About The Role
What will I be doing?
Products and Standards Engineering Support
- Support all areas of WTS business with expertise in standard systems product engineering knowledge, with focus on Pressurized Ultrafiltration membranes
- Support Project Engineer in producing technical documentation linked to project, like P&IDs, Layouts, technical specifications datasheets for machineries and equipment, etc.
- Supporting Engineering team in evaluation of technical bids from different suppliers.
- To help Lead Project Engineer maintain the assigned engineering budget and documentation schedule.
- Manage workload and priorities to meet customer requirements.
- Developing knowledge of Water Treatment Technologies and Processes.
- Developing knowledge of SUEZ equipment, technology, Products.
- Ensuring compliance with the SUEZ WTS Quality Management System (QMS) and development of a strong Health & Safety compliant mind set in all activities.
- Providing concise and timely reports, updating reports to management team and participating in all team rhythms.
Minimum Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Degree with strong academic record or comparable experience.
- Fluency in English language, French language is plus
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to influence and persuade
- Organized and self-motivated for success
- Demonstrated prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
- Ability in working in different cultures and environments
- Can demonstrate examples of working with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to understand contracts and financial aspects of a project
- Other European language skills would be an advantage
- Experience with water treatment technologies or any industrial experience is an advantage
- The role may involve minimal travel (approx. 10%) within UK/Europe and potentially throughout EMEA region.
