Bravissimo is a dynamic, entrepreneurial company which, since its launch in 1995, has grown to a 60m turnover business, with 26 stores in the UK, 1 store in New York, and a well-established e-commerce operation. We offer a range of lingerie, clothing and swimwear to fit and flatter women who wear a D-L cup.Whilst the business has grown, our purpose remains the same as it did in 1995, to inspire our customers to feel amazing about themselves. Bravissimo may seem like a straightforward retail business, but behind the scenes there is a hugely complex business model that relies on the passion, mindset and knowledge of or teams. Our business is made up of over 750 employees who are spread out between our Head Office Support and Technical functions, our 26 UK shops and our warehouse. Every individual plays an essential part in ensuring that we deliver our purpose and achieve our objectives. We have some ambitious growth plans and are looking for leaders of the future. As such, we are looking for Graduates to join Bravissimo in a number of areas on our Leadership Programme.

About the Programme

Unlike traditional graduate programmes, were committed to shaping our programme around you! You will be given responsibilities from day 1, allowing you to drive results and change in your chosen specialism. Alongside your day to day role, you will also be assigned projects in various areas of the business to expand your knowledge and enhance your exposure. These projects are real business projects, not ones created for the scheme, so you will be playing a key role in contributing to our strategic objectives in the work that you do.

The programme will last around 18 months and will give you the opportunity to gain solid experience whilst also allowing you to get the best possible exposure to other key areas of the business. You will also be given lots of opportunities to develop your soft skills and leadership style. Were looking for leaders of the future, so this programme really does represent limitless potential.

To support your growth and development, and to offer constructive challenge when needed, you will have a mentor from our Senior Leadership Team. With a range of different backgrounds and experience, each mentor will be there to offer objective advice as you encounter new challenges, as well as being a sound board for your ideas. They will also support with your exposure as you move throughout the scheme.

You will have regular meetings with your Manager and Scheme Sponsor throughout the 18-month period to set and monitor your own personal and project-based objectives. Your progress and development will be reviewed throughout, and for those graduates who demonstrate the growth and leadership skills were looking for, a permanent position will be made available for you.

These roles will give you the opportunity to influence at a senior level and have an impact on real business challenges. Our roles at Bravissimo are broad and deep and you should therefore be as comfortable operating in the day to day detail as you are working on strategic projects. Should you be required to move to a different location for any of your projects or any part of the programme, a relocation support package will be offered.

IT Graduate Leadership Programme

Our IT Team play a huge role in ensuring we are able to deliver our purpose to our customers, shaping, building and improving the technologies that sit behind our website, customer service platform, warehouse management system and our in-store systems. They also manage a magnitude of internal systems that allow Bravissimo employees to fulfil their roles every day. The IT Graduate Leadership Programme will be shaped entirely around the successful candidate and as such, we can tailor the programme to suit someone who has some prior experience in IT, or someone with a passion in IT but no formal experience.Initially, you will spend time with each of our IT departments to gain a real understanding of how each of the areas operate. This will include Software Engineering, Operations, Architecture and the Helpdesk Team.

In each of these areas you will be given a key role to ensure that you are not only learning, but also using your skills and knowledge to support our purpose and objectives. Using this period to understand where your passion and interest lies, we will then work closely with you to shape the remainder of your programme. Depending on where you would like to carve out your IT career, we will support you in building your skills and knowledge in this area with a comprehensive training plan. Alongside building your technical skills, you will also learn the fundamentals of first line management and leadership.

Whilst working in our IT Team, you will also complete a number of key business projects. These will expand your knowledge of the wider business and give you exposure to other teams. Whilst these projects will be shaped around the successful candidate, they could be within our warehouse, customer service teams or in areas such as stock management, marketing or HR.

About You

We are looking for people with a curious mindset, unwavering drive and a high aptitude for picking up new information. We are looking for the future leaders of Bravissimo! You will have received, or be on track to receive, a 2:1 or above at degree level. This could be in any subject or specialism. This placement does lend itself to one of the STEM subjects due to the technical nature of the role, but this isnt essential.

You should have the confidence and passion to be able to articulate your ideas, as well as challenge the way we do things, should you see opportunities to enhance the experience we can offer to our customers. You should have fantastic communication skills as well as an open mind to learn new things. Our culture is agile and pacey and as such, you should be motivated by an environment where things can change quickly, and where things arent always necessarily black and white. As well as the right mindset and attitude, it is also important for us to find individuals who really understand and connect with our purpose, as this really does shape everything we do.

For this placement, we will consider candidates who have no work experience in an IT role. However, you should have a keen interest in IT, which may be from your degree, or from something you enjoy doing in your spare time. We would also consider someone who does have experience working in an IT position who is looking for a programme that will accelerate your development.
