Graduate Investment Support Analyst

Salary - £35,000 + Bonus

Based in Cambridge

Bruin are working on an exclusivebasis with our client, an Investment Manager to hire a Graduate Investment Support Analyst to be based in Cambridge.

The role will support and work very closely with the Invesmtent Office and Investment Teams withmanaging transactions flow, monitoring and reporting investment performance of individual managers and asset classes and more.

The office is located 5 minutes from the mainline Cambridge station - only 45 minutes from Kings Cross.

Role responsibilities:

- The maintenance of Investment records in real time.

- Reviewing investment manager fee invoices and other fund expenses and recommend for approval.

- Monitor the Investment Team’s direct trading activities by the review of trading logs and platforms primarily for securities, futures and FX trades.

- Ensure full daily and monthly reporting to the fund depositary.

- Prepare monthly valuations for assets held directly by the Investment Office

- Prepare monthly full portfolio valuation estimates using the Fund’s daily flash reporting, in conjunction with the investment team

Suitable Candidates will have:

- A degree - Finance or Accounting preferred.

- Previous experience of accounting management, ideally in an investment setting would be valuable.

- Able to use financial systems, performance reporting systems and excellent PC skills, especially Excel.

- Must have a good level of attention to detail and ability to work alone and with initiative.

- An enquiring mind and interest in the financial world.
