We are looking for High Achieving Automotive, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering Graduates from the class of 21 / 22 to join the team at Ilmor, working on exciting new racing and road car projects with some of the biggest manufacturers and teams in the world.

GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERS - Improving Engine Performance through dynamometer testing and intuitive performance development of racing engines. You will need knowledge of full engine dynamometer and sub-system rig testing along with a high level of competence in planning and executing testing activities, analysing data and reporting findings in a clear and succinct manner.

GRADUATE DESIGN ENGINEERS –Working on the design and development of all engine components across multiple projects. You will be able to demonstrate exposure the design of major engine components, In depth knowledge of engine design, manufacture and assembly alongside

3D CAD & FEA stress analysis skills (preferably using Catia V5 and Ansys).

GRADUATE ELECTRONIC ENGINEERS -Collaborating across departments to design, develop prototypes and take to small scale production: wiring harnesses, sensors, actuators and electronic control systems. You will have the chance to grow your capabilities within Electronic Propulsion, EV subsystem prototyping and manufacturing, vehicle software as well as getting involved with new business tenders. Ideally you will be experienced with electronic analysis and design (Spice, Altium or similar) and in coding in embedded C, Matlab, Similink or similar.

For all roles you must be able to demonstrate

  • Minimum degree education in a related Engineering Degree (i.e. Mechanical, Automotive, Electronic / Electronics
  • A Year in Industry engineering placement and/or relevant post graduate work experience
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and different powertrain systems (including hybrid) or Electric propulsion and Electric Vehicle subsystems
