Job Title: Graduate Contracts Engineer Location: Brownhills, Walsall Duration: Permanent Salary: £22,000-£25,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Contracts Engineer for a permanent role based in Brownhills.

Our client are industry leaders in high integrity fabrication, welding, tube manipulation & machining.

Skills Required: Read & interpret technical drawings and specifications. Produce cutting lists and bill of materials. Calculation of material weights and sizes. Basic CAD and technical drawing skills. Communication and project management. Attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks. Understanding of manufacturing processes. Mathematical skills for both engineering and financial application. Microsoft office (in particular Word and Excel).

Responsibilities: Receive and process project enquiries. Break enquiries down into materials, labour, consumables, tooling Communicate with other departments to obtain relevant information relevant to the quotation. Formulate quotation / Estimate man hours. Receive and process purchase orders. Raise purchase orders for materials and sub-contract requirements. Review project budgets and expenditure. Create work packages. Issue work project information to the relevant departments throughout the company. Liaise with QA / Production to ensure project is being controlled. Contract reporting, monitoring & recording. Follow up on past quotations / receive feedback. Report on analysis once the contract is complete. Raise paperwork for despatch / invoicing. Review and respond to audits. Provide technical assistance and clarification on contracts
