We have an exciting locum opportunity for a Grade 12 Finance Officer with UK experience to join our team.

Location: Shepton Mallet

Grade: Grade 12

Pay rate (Assignment rate): £17.72 per hour

Contract Length: 3-Months

Duties:

  • Salary monitoring, inputting journals, investigating miscodes, correcting actual spend, attending budget meetings with Finance Manager (on occasions)
  • Providing ad-hoc information as required, liaising with other finance team members to resolve queries
Requirements for the Finance Officer role:

  • An AAT part qualified accountant required to support the Finance Manager with the delivery of financial service to a directorate
  • Local Government experience preferable but not essential
