Endeavour MAT is seeking to appoint a Governance & Compliance Officer. This exciting role will see the successful candidate working at the highest level within the trust. You will therefore need strong organisational and administrative skills and be able to coordinate across executive leaders, trustees, members and Local Governing Bodies.

You will know how to take minutes in a formal setting and be comfortable planning, setting up and supporting large meetings. Specific knowledge of governance within a multi academy trust or similar environment would be useful but not essential. Those without a formal governance qualification will be expected to gain a formal Level 4 Certificate in Academy Governance after successfully completing probation.

The successful candidate will also ensure high standards of governance and health & safety compliance across the trust, ensuring accurate record keeping and the proactive management of actions, issues and reporting.

This role line manages the trust’s office administration assistant and will have overall responsibility for maintaining high standards of office administration, support and practice with the executive leadership and central office team.

This is an all year-round position. Some out of hours working will be required but Time Off in Lieu is available.
