About the Role

Global Payroll Implementation Specialist to join our Finance Global Process Owner team, which is focused on business partnership, innovation, automation, and process improvement. The Global Payroll Implementation Specialist will serve as a process subject matter expert. This is a complex but exciting area supporting the future delivery of payroll. Reporting to the Global Payroll Process Owner, you will support the Global Payroll Program & Regional Payroll Leads and local teams to successfully deliver payroll solutions in 3 regions, EMEA, APAC and the Americas owning the overall project documentation and testing for systems for the project and Payroll end to end steps.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the smooth implementation of the new payrolls working, coordinating meetings and sending clear and regular communication across all areas of the business before, during and after implementation, to maintain engagement, and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Support the E2E testing of processes for payroll with all stakeholders and document results from all testing phases.
  • Ensure payroll implementation planning activities and meetings are prioritised based on agreed global and local plans.
  • Validate future process SOPs and process flows and assist with identifying gaps and opportunities to bring New MORNINGSTAR processes to life across global payroll.
  • Assist with the development of future E2E process, KPI’s and country blueprints, understanding and ensuring these are clearly understood by all stakeholders (Finance, HR, Tech, Procurement) when validating and/or designing future MORNINGSTAR business processes.
  • Understand process dependencies and compliance and ensure risks / issues are clearly tracked, shared and understood by key stakeholders.
  • Support the Regional Manager to ensure seamless handover of payroll implementation for the region projects to BAU (business as usual) so that systems are supported, and correct processes and escalation management is in place.

Qualifications:

Experience and soft skills

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in BAU and supporting payroll implementation.
  • A strong understanding of business process improvement with the ability to produce high quality outputs Proven work experience or subject matter knowledge in payroll and related systems (e.g. Workday, ERP systems, SAP) and key transformation levers either as a Process/Product Analyst, Process/Product Expert or Subject Matter Expert
  • Confident, proactive self-starters, comfortable in managing / engaging others and in dealing with and navigating ambiguity or shifting context.

Technical skills

  • Experience in coordinating Payroll Testing and end to end process testing (Workday Preferable)
  • Skilled in process mapping tools and MS Office products such as Visio, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Asana, Teams,
  • Systems experience, Workday, Immedis, Cloudpay.

Nice to have (optional)

  • Second language preferrable.
