As the Global Marketing Communications Manager at UPL, you will lead the charge in developing, implementing, and managing strategic communication plans across our global marketing team and Reimagining Sustainability efforts. You will be responsible for content management and ensuring consistency in messaging across our corporate, key program, portfolio, product materials and integrated platforms. This dynamic role requires a results-oriented, innovative, and problem-solving professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong background in agriculture.
JOb Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and manage strategic communications plans for global portfolio leads and strategic projects, including Herbicides, Insecticides, Fungicides, Seed Applied Technology, Strategic Alliances and Gigaton Carbon Goal
- Coordinate and support our Reimagining Sustainability efforts and develop a global communication framework to ensure we drive and share impactful, consistent messaging and stories to enhance our brand
- Design and deliver content marketing strategies aligned with global marcom objectives
- Write, edit, proofread, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce high-quality content, also optimising content considering SEO
- Create and own the audit and feedback loops with the global and regional marcom teams who create client-facing copy enabling them to uphold tone of voice and brand standards
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement
- Develop and manage relationships and budgets with agencies
- Carry-out any other duties as required by line manager
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience
- Significant experience creating strategic communication plans
- Proven listening, negotiating and influencing skills
- Creative thinker with proven campaign experience
- Strong agriculture background, able to comprehend and interpret data
- Excellent communications skills and interpersonal skills, with a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way, both verbally and in writing
- Analytical, with the ability to interpret information, news, data and research quickly – and distil the most important information to inform unique and innovative new content and creation ideas
- Organized and well-planned, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexible ’can-do’ attitude needed to thrive in a rapidly growing company
