Your Role:

The role of Global Lead for Sustainability Communications and Engagament will play a pivotal part in leading the development and delivery of a Sustainability engagement strategy which enables the Business Area to lead on this key strategic pillar. Working as part of the Senior Leadership team, you will be collaborating with colleagues to drive engagement and communication across key sustainability themes and messages building purpose and a strong sustainability culture.


  • Establish Sustainability communication platforms that enable engagement across all aspect of the VTBA Sustainability scope of activities including safety, environmental impact, and climate change to the BA and divisional teams
  • Collaborating with People and Culture and the divisional communications leadership teams, identify and establish sustainability centric externally delivered professional development programmes deployable to identified communications and business development teams empowering engagement on key themes relevant to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with communications leadership teams in Atlas Copco Group, and the VTBA including divisions to enable and establish sustainability messaging that supports effective stakeholder communications built from key sustainability reference points.
  • Working with internal and external partners, establish an engagement programme which facilitates the VTBA sustainability transition programme ensuring effective communication to specific stakeholder groups is enabled by the relevant leadership teams.


To succeed, you will need:


  • Degree or equivalent in a marketing or relevant sustainability discipline or extensive management experience
  • Experience of working within an international organisation with a global remit
  • Experience of workinhg within manufacturing, technology, and/or a services business
  • Excellent collaboration skills with experience of working within a matrixc enviroment
  • Experience of developing and delivering Global workshops and events
