We are looking for a new Global L&D Business Partner to join us to provide learning & development consultancy and advice to Zone and Country GSCS Managers for assigned functional area to support the delivery of Country/Zone/Global targets.
You will collect and consolidate demand and needs analysis to contribute to annual training plans for each Country/Vertical aligned with global strategies and programs. Validate and prioritise demand requests for learning to produce a prioritised set of agreed deliverables. Work with Learning Program Managers to source or develop new appropriate learning & development provision to meet plans. Promote the use of learning & development processes, policies, tools and solutions within the business. Evaluate and assess the adoption and value of learning for continual improvement. Participate in relevant Country/Vertical, Zone or Global GSCS Management Meetings contributing to planning and reporting of learning & development activities.
Participate in setting global priorities for content, program and initiative development originating from agreed learning & development objectives. Contribute to the creation and implementation of Global learning & development strategy, approaches, processes and policies. Works under self-management, managing tasks of moderate to complex scope.

Learning & Development Consultancy

You will attend relevant field Management/Leadership Council meetings and brief the Senior Managers on current L&D activities, gather input into future initiatives and consult on adoption. Undertake regular training needs analysis with Country/Vertical GSCS functional team taking input from performance management, career development and business strategy to form part of country annual development plans to support the business. Manage regular demand management activities with the Country/Vertical GSCS functional teams to meet short term business needs linked to pipeline/opportunities. Recommend most appropriate learning intervention within business and budget constraints. Deliver L&D consultancy to Country, Zone and Global organisations on People Development policy, strategy and planning. Encourage the adoption of L&D support processes and tools. Select appropriate projects from Country/Vertical/Zone demand for global development and support successful L&D delivery. Support Product, Business Method and Tools enablement including taking the lead when required as key enablement point of contact. Work with zones and global teams to support the enablement of partners. Run internal training network (ITN) for relevant business unit

Learning & Development Solution Sourcing, Development And Delivery

Facilitate and support global delivery of training courses and core learning programmes and wider events where required. Scope, design and develop or source training materials and approaches external to existing curriculum, to meet immediate tactical and one off training needs for zones/countries, including localisation of materials where agreed and in line with strategic goals. Identify key development program requirements and work with L&D Learning Programs Manager to ensure program is scoped and built to meet stated needs. Where required, take a lead role in the organisation of Zone and Global conference content. Deliver training where required.

Global Learning & Development Team

In conjunction with other global L&D team members, contribute to the definition of the L&D global strategy. Attend and report to Global L&D meetings. In conjunction with other global L&D team members contribute to the development of Global L&D policies, processes, standards and tools. Contribute to the development of core frameworks for the delivery of learning and development. Help to promote adoption of global projects and initiatives. Own or contribute to allocated global projects

General

Willing and able to travel to appropriate work locations, as required by SISW or specified by the customer pursuit/project. Willing and available to work the core hours required by SISW or specified by the customer project, respecting local country legislation and company policies. Record expenses in an accurate and timely manner. Always uphold the professional integrity of Siemens . Uphold and enforces Siemens compliance guidelines at all times. Adhere to all Siemens Health and Safety policies. Adhere to, and promote all core internal and customer processes relating to the effective undertaking of the role. Ensure that all communication channels within the business are adhered to.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will require previous experience within L&D, ideally in the capacity of Business Partner. You will need to be a strong communicator, confident at all levels and with strong presentation skills. You will be a team player, who has experience in conflict management, problem solving, strategic planning and who is self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
