We are looking for a tenacious, resilient and seasoned Sales Executive who’s bread and butter is acquiring new business. Someone who wants to utilise their bilingual abilities to communicate with prospective clients and close those all-important deals.

You’ll play a critical role in developing new business across all markets, targeting businesses such as advertising agencies, publishers, TV and film producers, design companies as well as corporate businesses across Germany and German speaking countries.
Maybe you are a lead generating Guru or perhaps you can’t put the phone down until you have made your sale. Either way, we need someone who won’t be shy to get talking about Alamys products.

No one day will be the same and with the right balance of autonomy, collaborative work and support via the wider Alamy business, you really could be stepping into your dream role.

What can you do for them?

As a natural hunter you will strive to exceed sales targets for new business across new and lapsed customers, managing a pipeline to the point of commitment.
You will be selling licenses and every customer need is different. You’ll need to listen and ask open questions to understand the prospective customer, identifying opportunities and developing a creative, tailored solution for them.
You’ll need to deliver polished on brand presentations, using your outstanding relationship skills to build foundations for long term business relationships.
With support from their brilliant marketing team you’ll network through organisations to find the decision maker to endeavour to secure a company level commitment/top supplier contract.
You’ll build up targeted list of prospective customers using industry news, LinkedIn, new registrations and leads from Customer Services and Sales colleagues and identify the decision maker within those organisations.

You’ll be self-motivated and driven to hit KPI’s such as call / email targets, meeting and pitches which will help to establish a healthy pipeline.

About you

So you’ve read up to now, which means that you can probably do the job but what kind of person do you think they need?

You will be an experienced Sales Executive and have a natural product mindset, although we aren’t as concerned with your sales background. (Bonus points for international sales experience!)

You will be hungry for growth as well as sales and have the self motivation to hit KPI’s and targets, create presentations and set up meetings, employing your previous experience and skill set.

You will be a proficient English and German speaker and have a cultural understanding of the German market, confidently communicating via email and telephone.

You will be a natural negotiator and have the ability to work well under pressure, making good judgements, decisions and meet conflicting deadlines.
