We have been trading as a Limited Company since September 2003. We build bespoke computers for customers throughout the UK and other European Countries. All sales are internet based and customer led. We are a continually expanding, well-managed and ambitious Company.

JOB DESCRIPTION – IT SALES & CUSTOMER SUPPORT ADVISOR

We are seeking a conscientious, able and enthusiastic person to join our team that operate our call centre, specifically to join our German contact team. There are excellent prospects for the right candidate, who will be happy and able to evolve their role as the Company continues to expand. The successful candidate will be committed and ambitious for themselves and PC Specialist Ltd.

The call centre is currently open from 8.30am to 8.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 5pm on Saturdays which are worked on a rota basis, these times are subject to regular review. The working hours are 40 per week. At busy times overtime will be required and will be arranged by mutual consent. The required shift pattern for this position is 8.30am to 5pm Mon-Sat (rest day weekday).

Our business ethos is to provide a customer driven service. We do not ‘cold call’ or pressure our customers or prospective customers. Our staff do provide them with the best advice tailored for their individual needs. The aim of our call centre staff is to provide efficient and effective advice and support.

DUTIES

You will:-

  • Provide a professional service on the helpdesk for Technical, Sales and Tracking support.
  • Maintain email correspondence with customers.
  • Maintain customer records on our bespoke administration site creating and amending orders, sub orders and credit notes.
  • Process payments and any refunds if necessary.
  • Liaise with Production, Returns and Administration Departments as needed.
  • Monitor and report customer satisfaction levels.

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

  • Must have product knowledge of current components and understand the way a PC is built and configured.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware together with a good working knowledge of computer operating systems.
  • Proven track record of Fault Diagnosis.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in telephone support.
  • Have the ability to advise people of varying skills and aptitudes.
  • Be punctual, reliable, flexible and conscientious.
  • Fast and accurate keyboard skills.
  • It is essential you can work in a high pressure and busy environment while still displaying the professionalism required.
  • Be available for cover in alternative shifts when called upon given a reasonable notice.
