STRUCTURAL SOILS Ltd, a member of RSK Group Ltd, is a site investigation contractor that for over 50 years has provided comprehensive site and ground investigation services in the UK and Europe. Due to increasing workload an exciting opportunity has become available for a Laboratory Technician to join the team in the Castleford.

Suitable candidates will ideally need to be able to demonstrate previous laboratory experience or have an interest in a career working in a soil laboratory environment.

Geotechnical Laboratory Technician – Castleford

Key Responsibilities Will Include

Carrying out a variety of testing on soil in the laboratory, to comply with the relevant standards

Recording accurately the test data produced for analysis

Assisting in the calibration and maintenance of all technical equipment

Maintaining a neat and orderly laboratory environment

Desired Experience

Whilst no previous laboratory experience is required for this role as full training is provided, we are interested in hearing from candidates who have worked in a process driven environment, are comfortable working off order lists and don’t mind getting their hands dirty.
