General Operative –Inspection/Warehouse

Lestercast is a well-established award-winning, company manufacturing high quality, precision investment castings in a range of metals and specialist alloys for numerous industrial and commercial applications – anything from automotive parts to golf club heads!

We are looking to recruit a General Operative to join our Inspection/Warehouse team who are willing to learn and develop in a manufacturing environment.

The role will involve working as part of a team; demonstrating flexibility with a willingness to learn and embrace new skills.

Successful candidates will display a keen eye for detail, be a strong team player with the ability to work to deadlines.

Previous experience of working in a Manufacturing/Warehouse environment would be advantageous, however full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Goods In/Out processing
  • General Warehousing
  • Visual inspection
  • Gauging
  • Packaging/Palletising
  • Machine Operation
  • Ensure customer quality standards are always maintained
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely
  • Ensure all equipment is in a safe and serviceable condition
  • Enforce and promote safety and housekeeping in your area of work

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 7.30am – 4.30pm Mon-Thu & 7.30am-12.30pm Friday

Salary: £10.44/Hour + weekly attendance allowance.
