GROWING WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING BUSINESS REQUIRE AND EXPERIENCED OPERATIONS MANAGER TO DRIVE BUSINESS FORWARD BOTH COMMERCIALLY AND OPERATIONALLYTITLE: General Operations Manager - Commercial Waste & Recycling
SALARY: £ 40-60K DOE with Car & Benefits
LOCATION: Leeds / Bradford area
Previous roles may have been: Commercial Waste Depot Manager, Metal Recycling Operations Manager, Aggregates Recycling Manager, Biomass / Green Waste Transfer Station Manager, Skip Hire General Manager, Depot General Manager, Quarry Manager, Commercial and Industrial Waste Operations Manager, Construction & Demolition Waste General Manager
ROLE: General Operations Manager - Commercial Waste & Recycling
You will be responsible for a waste collections and processing operations
You will manage P&L and deliver a profitable operation and identify growth opportunities
You will ensure vehicle, safety and environmental compliance
You will look to commercially develop the business
You will ensure staff are trained
You will look to deliver improvements to safety, quality and production levels while minimising costs
EXPERIENCE: General Operations Manager - Commercial Waste & Recycling
You will have a background in the waste management & recycling or Quarry & aggregates sector
You will be a strong man manager
Useful Qualifications COTC / WAMITAB, CPC, IOSH, NEBOSH
You will be commercially astute and have managed P&L
