General Manager / Pub Restaurant & Hotel Manager who is an inspirational leader with excellent organisational and time-management skills is required for an established pub / hotel situated in the centre of the market town of Frome. SALARY: £40,000 per annum + Live-In Accommodation + Benefits. LOCATION: Frome, Somerset. JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent. JOB OVERVIEW. We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a General Manager / Pub Restaurant & Hotel Manager who is an inspirational leader with excellent organisational and time-management skills. As the General Manager / Pub Restaurant & Hotel Manager you will join a successful pub that sits in the heart of Frome and plays a key part in the town and local community. The pub has a strong local following, is a destination for those visiting the town and alongside the large bar and dining area, they have a unique function and event room and 26 hotel rooms. Working as the General Manager / Pub Restaurant & Hotel Manager you will join a team that serves freshly prepared food with quality and provenance being at the heart of every dish. The pub also serves a selection of award-winning real ales as well as wines, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. The key attributes required for the General Manager / Pub Restaurant & Hotel Manager are:.
  • Being an inspiring leader - who leads by example and can engage, excite and communicate clearly to your team to ensure they enjoy their work and deliver outstanding service to all your customers.
  • Being organised - with the ability to organise your own time to manage the priorities in your pub and run a great managed pub.
  • Being commercial driven - the ability to build a business plan that grows the sales and profit of your pub with your line manager.
  • The ability to build a great team - train and develop your team and then plan how the resources are used.
  • Have a passion for what we do - determined and tenacious and in doing so showing the passion and drive to keep growing the sales and profit of your pub and executing your plans.
