We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our five-storey contemporary Nigerian restaurant, bar, and lounge. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for the overall management of the establishment, including day-to-day operations, financial performance, customer satisfaction, overseeing events and providing leadership and direction to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve business objectives
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth running of the establishment across all five floors
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Create and maintain relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and the local community
  • Manage inventory and control costs to achieve financial targets
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to achieve high performance and meet business needs
  • Manage employee schedules, payroll, and other administrative tasks
  • Organise and oversee events throughout the year

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in a similar establishment, with a track record of success
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders
  • Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyse financial statements and make data-driven decisions
  • In-depth knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a customer-centric mindset
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business Management or related field preferred
  • Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate and Personal License preferred
