Full Time, Temp to Perm

Food Sector, Industrial, Logistics & Warehousing

General Manager

This position is with a small company who are looking for a General Manager on a temp to perm basis in the Doncaster DN4 area.

Duties
  • Initially must learn every aspect of the business in order to be able to manage the factory (all processes from start to finish eg. production, deliveries, ordering stock and taking customer orders, office and paperwork)
  • Order all stock and maintain a good relationship with suppliers
  • Take regular calls from customers and be able to problem solve
  • Must organise factory including fridge and freezers
  • Will be required to create weekly work schedules/rota


Experience
  • Must have experience working/managing a team
  • Must have experience working in food and a food production factory
  • Preferred to have food safety and hygiene certificates
  • Must have a full driving licence


Rates Of Pay
  • £11 per hour with regular performance appraisals and potential to move to a salary


Hours Of Work
  • Monday to Friday, approximately 8am – 4pm as each day varies
