An excellent opportunity has arisen for a General Handyperson based in the north east of Scotland area around Aberdeen, Dundee and Inverness, to join one of the UK’s leading facilities management companies.

You’ll be working as a Handyperson on multi-sites carrying out building maintenance on food retail stores to help keep them up and running by being on top of small repairs and servicing work.

If you have worked on retail sites before that is ideal, but it is crucial that you are used to doing maintenance/small repairs on commercial buildings - you may well have been a Handyperson or Caretaker previously for a school or office block.

The work consists of a mix of PPM and reactive building works internally and externally to include:

Building
  • Roof - repair roof leaks and quarterly gutter and gully clearance
  • Brickwork - repairs to walls
  • Floor - repair vinyl and ceramic tiles
  • Car Park / yard works
  • Roller shutters - annual PPM and reactive repairs
Painting and decorating
  • Carry out minor painting repairs
Plumbing and drainage
  • Unblock drains, urinals, toilets, and sinks.
  • Repair leaking taps and washers.

Basic salary of �26,650 for a 40 hour week

Travel time paid after first 30 minutes each way

No standby or call out

Overtime
