About The Role

We are investing in and expanding our Property Maintenance Team, and have a new and exciting opportunity to join the team in the role of General Maintenance Employee (GME).

Reporting into the Repairs Managers, you will be an integral part of a wider team to provide support to our service delivery, working alongside other colleagues in the delivery of brickwork repairs, roofing repairs, property clearance work, delivery of materials and collection of waste.

Our tenants are at the heart of what we do at Gentoo, therefore, providing an excellent customer service is paramount in this role. You will need to be a people person with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of teams, colleagues and customers within Gentoo to ensure we deliver excellent customer service every time.

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of construction and the repairs associated with all types of domestic dwellings. You will be customer focused with a drive to help us to successfully deliver our ‘Right First Time’ delivery model.

With excellent people skills you will have the ability to work as part of a team as well as being able to work on your own initiative.

With a will do/can do attitude you will be passionate about the delivery of excellent customer service with a determination to deliver exceptional performance both personally and as part of a team.

You will be competent in the use of handheld IT systems.

A full clean driving licence is essential.
