Summary

We are looking to recruit new staff to join our busy Vegetable Operations teams. the main role will be in our Cauliflower harvesting team although you may be asked to work across other areas of the field operation as and when required.

Working for a professional Company growing and supplying into major supermarkets the successful applicant will need to be reliable, hardworking and a team player who enjoys the outdoors and is happy to work outside in all weathers.

Depending on orders and growing conditions sometimes we will require people to work quite long days and will sometimes include weekend working.

They must have a passion to work to a high standard, delivering the best quality product to our customers. Successful applicants will be involved in the planting, cultivation and harvesting of fresh produce to a high standard ensuring that we meet our customers specifications.

There is no requirement for previous experience as full training will be given.



Details

Contracted 40 hours a week with overtime at 1.25% for any additional hours worked

Requirements

Essential

  • Working level of spoken English
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse team
  • Shifts will include early starts, late finishes and will include weekends.
  • This role includes manual lifting, bending down and walking within fields on uneven ground and is physically demanding.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast moving environment
  • Attention to detail.


Desirable

  • Previous fresh produce/agricultural experience
  • Food Hygiene qualification
  • First Aid qualification
