General Farm Worker – immediate start
A great opportunity for a keen and reliable worker to join our farm team in a varied and rewarding role. The farm is a mixed cropping, beef and sheep enterprise.
The job/duties will include involvement in all aspects of care and husbandry of the cows and calves, ewes and lambs. Tractor driving will include work on grass crops for grazing and silage making and arable crops.
Responsibilities will include bedding and feeding the stock, scraping up around the farmyard, general cleaning and tidying up, tractor driving, as well as assisting the other staff with the general routine work. Salary dependent on experience.
Hours are based around a Monday-Friday working week with weekend feeding every second weekend.
The ideal candidate:
Livestock experience
Tractor driving skills
Valid driving licence
A positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
Hard working, punctual and reliable
