A position has become available in the robotic unit on a modern, family run, dairy farm situated on the glorious west coast of Cumbria within a stone throw of the lakes.

The farm consists of just under 700 acres and supports 1000 head of pedigree Holstein livestock calving all year round. The candidate must have an interest and drive in the dairy industry with exceptional attentional to detail however full training can be given. Being computer literate, and holding a driving licence is essential.

The role involves regular time off and is primarily within the robotic unit on the farm. The role involves managing the robotic milking with a keen eye for animal welfare, looking after the calves and also supporting around the farm as required. Full and part time will be considered. Pay will vary with experience but a competitive package is on offer with long term potential.
