General Cover Teachers
Full and part time roles available

I am looking to recruit general supply teachers on both a day to day supply basis and also for longer term roles. There are roles available with the the opportunity of more permanent positions being available for 2021-2022 throughout schools in the Banbury area.

This last academic year 2020-2021 has been a very challenging and unprecedented one due to the Covid-19 situation. Schools have had to adjust to new rules and regulations and make huge changes to timetables, school start and finish times etc and ensure that movement around school is restricted as much as possible and all of this has been done to try and get pupils back on track for their educational needs. I have been working with my schools in the Warwickshire area for a few years and I want to continue supporting them especially through this difficult time. In order to this this I am asking for your help. There are still challenges ahead but hopefully things will start to improve at a much faster pace as we go into the new academic 2021-2022 year.

I am looking to hear from teachers who have a supply teaching background, those who would like to ensure that they can assist pupils to stay in the learning environment now that they are back in school but also have the flexibility to work when required. The supply demand from my schools is at an all time high and I require teachers who want to teach but not be tied in to contracts and the extra work that goes with. If you want to teach but be able to pick your own children up from school or choose which days you want to work then supply is for you. There is an abundance of work out there!

You must be able to teach up to GCSE level and offer cover in several subjects i.e Maths, English, Science, Humanities etc., previous experience in providing general cover in secondary schools would certainly be advantageous.

As a general cover teacher you will;

  • Teach various subjects to KS3 & KS4 level
  • Provide general cover for teachers who may be absent (either day to day or longer term)
  • Be able to deliver lessons and ensure that pupils are on task
  • Provide interaction and and motivation within the classroom

  • The ideal candidates will have the following skills & experience

  • Qualified teacher Status
  • Experience working with children in a secondary education setting
  • Dedication to their job
  • A passion for teaching
  • Commitment
