About the role

Our General Assistants are vital to our catering operation and ensure our busy food outlets run smoothly, always ensuring to provide excellent customer service. With a dedicated and helpful approach, you’ll support our team of chefs with basic food preparation and ensuring the kitchen areas and equipment are left glistening!

This is a great opportunity to support our Armed Forces and improve the quality of their daily life, as the site is not only their workplace but also a home to many of them.

A few things about you

We want you to bring your can-do attitude, your flexible approach to working and your great reliability with you when you join us. Being a team player is important, don’t forget to bring you excellent attention to detail and good communication skills too!

Experience working in a similar industry (i.e., food service, catering, or hospitality) would be ideal, but general knowledge of food preparation with understanding of basic food hygiene and cleaning will tick the box!

Sodexo embeds a strong safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practises so it is vital that you will champion this.

Site security clearance is required for this role.

Package Description

  • 40 hours a week

  • £9.50 per hour

  • 5 days out 7 on a rota basis 08:00 -16:30 and 12:00 - 20:30

  • Permanent
