Gloucester

Salary - £25,000 - £27,700 per annum, depending on experience

Contract type - Fixed Term - 2024

About the role

Working for GreenSquareAccord and supported by Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service (GDASS - part of GreenSquareAccord) www.gdass.org.uk, GDASS provides support to victims of domestic abuse (16+) living in Gloucestershire.

In addition to support services, GDASS also operate a helpline and manage the Places of Safety properties.

This role will raise awareness to professionals around domestic abuse and ensure referral pathways to Domestic Abuse support are understood across the county.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering domestic abuse training to a number of professionals who may encounter victims of domestic abuse across Gloucestershire.

You will also represent GDASS at network meetings with multi agency partners.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have an IDVA or Women`s Aid occupational standards qualification and have experience of developing and delivering training. Itis essential that you have specialist knowledge around domestic abuse and maintain up to date knowledge of issues related to domestic abuse and traditional harmful practices.

You must have knowledge of the Domestic Abuse Act is also required for this role.

You must be capable of managing projects with minimal supervision.
