Your Responsibilities

  • Delivering 1:1 tutoring, mostly at the student’s home and sometimes on-line (generally evenings and weekends).
  • Preparing and delivering tutoring sessions to best meet your student’s academic needs and goals.
  • Clarifying and teaching subject matter.
  • Assessing student’s knowledge on a regular basis.

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Educated to degree level but you don’t necessarily need to be a qualified teacher, however experience in tutoring is preferred.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures is essential.
  • Having reliable transport to tutoring sessions is essential.

All successful Tutor Doctor applicants will undergo a full reference check and will need to hold an Enhanced DBS. We can facilitate the placement of your Enhanced DBS order, if necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £18.00-£24.00 per hour
