GCP Data Engineer | Cardiff / Newport | Inside IR35 | Hybrid | 6 months

Our client, a leading global consultancy, are looking for a GCP Data Engineer to join for an initial 6-month contract based in either Cardiff or Newport on a hybrid basis.Please note that in order to be eligible for this role, you must be a Google Certified Professional Data Engineer and a Confluent Certified Professional Developer.

ROLE: GCP DATA ENGINEER

LOCATION: NEWPORT OR CARDIFF (HYBRID)

IR35 STATUS: INSIDE

LENGTH: 6 MONTHS

Required Experience

  • Expertise in python and DataFlow/ Apache beam
  • Experience in handling streaming data
  • Strong experience in database replication using Message based CDC
  • Experience in using Kafka implementations in a secured cloud environment.
  • Configuration of Kafka Broker, Security. Schema Governance.
  • Experience in Confluent Control Centre Strong database modelling concepts and SQL
  • Experience using Cloud Spanner, Big Query, GCS
  • Working in Agile environment.
  • Development using Devops, Github, Confluence, Jenkins Google Certified
  • Professional Data Engineer(Must)
  • Confluent Certified ProfessionalDeveloper (Must)
