The Royal borough of Greenwich gas section part of the Repairs and Investment are seeking to recruit 2 agency Gas service Engineers to assist with our compliance obligations.

A sound Gas related background, to include the essential qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1. Must have at least 2 years’ experience working on domestic gas boilers

Experienced on breakdowns, and servicing of all types of Domestic Gas appliances. Knowledge of control systems would be an advantage.

You will be mainly carrying out annual gas safety checks to domestic gas appliances within the Royal borough of Greenwich council homes However, you could be asked to carry out fault finding as and when required.

You must be able to work under your own supervision or as part of a team providing an efficient, effective and courteous service to Borough residents.

Flexible approach to working Hours. We would look for you to complete between 10/12 service calls per day. You must have your own Van. With appropriate insurance.
