We are looking for a Gas Safety and M&E Lead to join Incommunities. You will be the Incommunities compliance expert in relation to gas safety and M&E, leading all gas & M&E areas of landlord compliance and embedding innovation in service delivery. Incommunities are going through a very exciting time of change, as part of that change we are transforming our service offer to our customers and the role will ensure we provide a property safety structure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead management of the gas safety and heating and M&E client compliance function
  • Lead the team to deliver a robust and risk averse client compliance function in respect of gas safety and M&E
  • Management of contractors/programmes in delivery of a robust compliance service
  • Conduct incidents investigations into compliance failures, ensuring actions are taken in accordance with current guidance
  • Develop robust compliance processes and ensure effective audit processes are robust
  • Prepare performance reports and drive a property and customer safe culture
  • Line management of the team and support wider compliance and investment colleagues in respect of gas and heating and M&E.

Requirements

  • Level 4 VRQ in Gas Safety Management and/or Level 4 VRQ in Electrical Safety Management
  • Membership of the Association of Gas Safety Managers (AGSM)
  • CCN1,domestic core gas safety (COCN1 commercial core gas safety
  • In depth understanding of Landlords Duties under the 1998 Gas Safety (Installation and Use Regulations)
  • An in depth understanding of understanding of gas safety in relation to HSAWA 1974, RIDDOR 2013
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and testing or equivalent
  • Extensive experience working for a registered provider or similar organisation
  • Experience of leading a gas and heating & M&E compliance team and the delivery of robust compliance activity
  • Fully qualified supporting delivery of a high performing gas and heating and M&E safety function
