HiQ Tyres and Autocare is a small business in Truro. We are professional and agile.

HiQ Tyres and Autocare is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Truro store. The successful candidate will be a hard-working professional able to oversee the complete retail store experience. This person will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in executing daily retail operations, including sales, marketing, merchandising, and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a background in retail management and will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills. You must be able to lead by example and mentor your team members to ensure we provide our customers with the best experience possible. We are looking for a person who is passionate about providing top-notch service to all our customers.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in retail management
  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service
  • Must be available to work 4 days a week (including two days weekends)
  • Ability to multitask and perform at high levels in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be authorized to work in Truro without sponsorship
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Sales support through marketing
  • Merchandising support including product placement, displays, and placement of signage at major intersections and other locations where traffic patterns are difficult or unsafe for customers
  • Customer service support including answering phones, taking orders, checking customers’ identification, answering questions about products, placing orders, and following up with unsatisfied customers’ requests for changes or additions to orders
  • Training and development of staff

Salary: £26,714.00-£28,518.00 per year

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
