FUNDRAISING AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATORFull time, 35 Hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)Salary up to £21,500 per annum (depending on experience)Based at The Frances Hay Centre, Banbury Role purposeThis is an exciting time to join the charity as we embark on our 2024-2028 strategy.

Due to an internal promotion, we are now seeking a Fundraising and Communications Coordinator.

You will be self-motivated, have excellent administration skills, coupled with exceptional customer service.

No two days will be the same and will require someone that can wear multiple hats.

You will be highly organised and have great attention to detail.

You will be adept at using MS Office packages with familiarity of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases.

Part of the role will focus on processing donations along with general management of the CRM system and the other part will be administrative support.

These tasks will also be varied: you may be writing thank you letters to donors one minute; the next dealing with one of our wonderful volunteers; switching hats and helping with open days at the centre; all whilst responding to enquiries from our donors.

It is a very busy role, in a hardworking fundraising team, but it is an incredibly rewarding one.

You will feel a sense of pride knowing that you played a small part in the journey of our amazing dogs, when they leave us to go on to “making life possible” for one of our clients.About usAt Dogs for Good, we believe that dogs, and the bond we share with them, can help people lead happier, healthier and more independent lives.

This is an exciting time to join the organisation as we embark on a bold, new strategy to move to a more community-led model, alongside a greater emphasis on training, education and advocacy.

Over the next five years, this will increase the impact in our three priority areas – improving the quality of life for people and dogs; increasing the understanding of the value of connection with a dog; and creating a more inclusive society. Why work for usAlongside all of the obvious benefits (four-legged friends in abundance, puppy classes on site, and our important social purpose), we offer 25 days annual leave, plus additional time off between Christmas and New Year (and not working your birthday!); a generous contributory pension scheme; and a great office environment, shared with our dogs, on the edge on Banbury. To apply, please visit the ’Current Vacancies’ page on the Dogs for Good website where full application instructions and a copy of the Fundraising and Communications Coordinator job description can be found. Please note we cannot consider your application for this vacancy without a completed Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form
