About The Role

This role will be based on a Hybrid/Remote working basis and we are fully supportive of flexible working arrangements.

As a Functional Verification Application Support Manager, you lead a team of fifteen Application Support Engineers. Whilst being Responsible for EMEA Customer base. Lead as the Functional Verification product champion and being responsible for escalations, interfacing with Product Management Team, R&D and Customer Care Team

Area of Responsibility
  • Managing a team of highly skilled technical support members, to ensure successful operation of the Siemens Functional Verification product suite
  • Leading and Managing the following teams / functions: Incident Management, Problem Management and Change & Release Management
  • Continually improving our Support team to deliver best in class Services, which will ultimately drive customer satisfaction (CSAT).
  • Allocating & Managing workload and schedule for team across EMEA time zones.
  • Providing an interface between his technical team and Siemens Industry Software Customers, Partners, and distributors.
  • Create, monitor, and measure annual objectives in line with the corporate guidelines
  • Motivate, Coach, Mentor and develop the team.
  • Providing team with achievable measurable objectives which are in line with corporate direction
  • Measuring customer SLAs against targets, with a goal of continuous improvement
  • Looking for opportunities to optimized productivity and efficiency while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Respond, mediate, and resolve to satisfaction Siemens Industry Software customer escalations
  • Developing modifying and execute company policies
Your Qualifications & Experience
  • Ability to manage workload priorities and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Fluent in English is essential
  • Experience in and broad knowledge of Functional Verification technology and methodologies, in particular Questa platform preferred
  • Hands-on experience in testbench and RTL languages (UVM, SV, Verilog, VHDL) is a must. Broad understanding of ASIC design flows desired
  • The ability to successfully implement KPI’s
  • Able to create a forward-thinking team, being proactive wherever possible.
  • Motivate and inspire a team to meet a common set of goals and objectives.
  • Committed to building a strong team with clear succession plans
  • Has a solid understanding of our current processes and procedures
  • Able to execute on these processes and procedures to deliver best in class technical Support
  • Service Level adherence
  • Excellent communicator:
  • Confident and authoritative when meeting Partners and Customers.
  • Can demonstrate sound time management skills with the ability to work on several tasks at one time
