We are currently looking for a functional safety engineer to work with an innovative engineering business which focuses on driveline technology on both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains, with applications in passenger vehicles, commercial trucks and off-highway equipment.

Requirements
  • Experience in a functional safety engineering role
  • Experience with ISO26262 (automotive functional safety)
  • Safety analysis (FMEA, FTA, etc)
  • Good knowledge of systems, software and electronics
DESIRABLE
  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Knowledge of IEC61508, ISO15998, ISO25119, IEC 62061
  • Knowledge of CMMI, INCOSE, ASPICE
  • Experience with powertrains or EVs
