Position Title: ERP Functional Analyst

Location:

IPL offers a hybrid working model, remote and in office.

The Opportunity:Reporting to the Head of Applications, the Functional Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the ERP’s and supporting applications meet the ongoing and evolving needs of the Business.

Overview of Key Duties:

  • Understand the data needs of the different Business areas and working with the Head of Applications identify how these can be met by the ERP and other supporting systems
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the business users and stakeholders
  • Lead Business Requirements gathering sessions and document functional specifications
  • Manage incoming Change Requests, gather/ develop functional requirements and manage the delivery of the solution to ensure it is on time and to budget
  • Leading and coordinating application testing and assurance activities
  • Monitor and maintain the ERP system and supporting applications and propose necessary actions when required
  • Manage incidents, liaising with the wider IT team and Third Parties to ensure the ongoing delivery and maintenance of the applications
  • Work with key stakeholders to influence and drive continuous improvement to functionality and processes
  • Overseeing IT projects through all phases from initiation to completion
  • Carrying out user support and training on applications
  • Contribute to the systems design and development standard and guidelines
  • Keeping up to date on IT issues and developments in Manufacturing and ERP systems
  • Monitor any potential risks and highlight these to the Head of Applications as required
  • Any other duties assigned

What you will bring to the role:

  • Relevant third level degree or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience, ideally with a company in a related sector
  • Relevant experience in the Manufacturing sector, possessing a strong understanding of the Manufacturing business end to end processes and requirements
  • In depth knowledge of ERP systems and prior experience of supporting older technologies– specifically Oracle JD Edwards Vxx, Infor Visual Manufacturing vxx
  • In depth knowledge of customisations applied to these applications, with an ability to support and maintain those customisations
  • Strong ability to gather, understand and translate business requirements into working solutions
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships (both internal and external) with excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to ensure the successful execution of solution delivery projects by aligning cost, service and product selection to business needs and expectations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic team and fast-paced environment with continuous challenges
