Job Role & Location:

We are looking for a Photographic Sales Advisor to join our Head Office team in our new Cheltenham offices. The candidate must share our desire for high standards of customer service along with the ability to have fun at the same time.

The normal working hours are Monday - Sunday with two days off during the week, there will also be the opportunity for some home working.

Clifton Cameras Ltd is a leading independent photographic retailer based on the outskirts of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. Offering a professional and friendly service to a varied customer base, from professional to amateur photographers, birdwatchers and drone pilots. The business operates from two locations in Gloucestershire but supplies goods all over the UK and beyond.

Job Description:

As a Photographic Sales Advisor you will deliver a high standard of customer service/sales via in-store, phone, live chat and email; offering knowledgeable advice. You will need to gain a good understanding of our systems and may also need to offer support to other departments within the business.

What we’re looking for:

The candidate will be required to provide a ‘needs based’ selling style; we have a destination store meaning customers travel to our store from across the UK for a more one to one experience and telephone from anywhere in the world. The candidate must be able to listen to our customers needs, recommending products that meet that need as well as accessories to help them get the best from their new purchase.

Applicants should have:

· A keen eye for detail helping to ensure high standards of customer service at all times

· Photography or videography knowledge will be important to be successful in this role.

· A positive team player attitude with excellent attention to detail.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
