Blue Arrow have a fantastic new opportunity for Cleaners and are in search for full time Cleaners within Keele to work for a well-known Education provider. If you have previous cleaning experience and are happy to conduct residential and non-residential cleaning then please keep on reading.What is my pay as a full-time Cleaner?From 10.90 per hourWhat are my working hours?07:00am till 13:00pmWhat will my shift pattern be?Monday to Friday. SOME weekends will be required such as a Saturday or Sunday however, you will only be required to work 5 out of 7 days a week and weekend work will NOT be every week.Location: Keele, StaffordshireContract: OngoingStart date: Monday 24th April 2023Your job role as a Cleaner (residential & non-residential)
  • Ensuring the building is cleaned to the highest standard.
  • Cleaning restrooms
  • Cleaning office/classroom environments/bedrooms
  • Mopping floors
  • Sweeping floors
  • Emptying bins, replacing soap, replacing hand towels
  • Hoovering
  • Wiping down tables
  • Dusting
  • Cleaning kitchen facilities
Skills & Main Requirements
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Can ensure all tasks are complete within a set time
  • Knowledge of health and safety
  • Previous experience working as a cleaner especially within a school environment is ideal.
  • Able to use cleaning tools and equipment.
  • Safety boots (ideal not a must)
  • Will be required to wear a Blue Arrow shirt
The CommuteA regular bus service operates between the campus and Hanley (where you’ll find the main shopping centre), via Newcastle and Stoke-on-Trent. There are several bus operators which travel to and from Keele, the main route is the 25 if you require to use public transport.
