Full Stack Developer - .NET/React

Salary: £50,000 to £75,000 - highly dependent on individual

Location: Winchester, Hampshire - once per week in office

We have an opportunity for a Full Stack Developer to take the technical lead of a ground-breaking digital solution within the yacht and navigational management industry. You will be tasked with crafting a user-friendly interface for maritime navigation, integrating mapping technologies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. As a Software Developer, you will be working closely alongside the existing development and product management team to design, develop and test both new and existing features within our own application to ultimately enhance and maintain the application’s functionality. You’ll be working alongside two external consultants, so you’ll be the primary developer of the application and focus your efforts where you see fit.

This is a great chance for someone that’s looking to take on responsibility and work in the exciting space of geospatial technologies and maritime management, dealing with an array of clients in the luxury sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full stack development efforts within a .NET and React environment.
  • Design, develop, and maintain the Server Side logic for the web application (Azure, Azure Cosmos, Azure Blob).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, maritime experts, and QA engineers.
  • Work with geospatial libraries and APIs for mapping and navigation.
  • UX/UI to implement a user-friendly interface for maritime navigation.
  • Develop responsive and interactive features to enhance the user experience.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality code through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending best practices and tools to enhance development processes.

Technical Capabilities

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on both .NET and React (or other FE framework)
  • Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and RESTful API development.
  • Proficient in Front End technologies such as React, Angular, Vue, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with database systems, preferably SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Beneficial - Familiarity with maritime navigation concepts and standards.

This role is to be worked on a hybrid basis based in Winchester, Hampshire, requiring you to be in the office on a weekly basis - however flexible home working can be provided. A minimum of once per week in office is needed.
